The annual homecoming pep rally was held at the high school gym this year due to weather.  Even with limited space the pep rally was still a success. Performances included the high school and middle school drill team and cheer squads. Everyone was able to get a short glimpse at Shrek the Musical when they danced with Rowdy.

The homecoming court winners were announced Friday evening before the game. This year’s winners are Maddie McKnight for Homecoming Queen, Kyle Garza for Homecoming King, Jacob Brooks for Mr.SHS, and Sharon Thomas Miss SHS. The court also included Neethu Isaac as Football Sweetheart, Seth Fredrickson as Band Beau, and Nyssa Kantorek as Band Sweetheart.

Raider athletics came away from Friday with all smiles. The volleyball team won continuing their sweep streak. The girls made their record 11-0 in district after winning their homecoming game.

“It was a great feeling winning homecoming and being able to sweep all three matches in a row,” sophomore Carli Morgan said.

The football team continued their undefeated season Friday night. After the victory, the football team became 7-0 and in district play.
